Education
I graduated from Boise State University with a Bachelors of Business Administration in Accountancy in 2014. I have volunteered with Junior Achievement several times, an organization that invites professionals to spend a day teaching classrooms of children from kindergarten - 6th grade basic concepts of money, saving, and economics. The actual teachers have often complimented me on how well I did with the students, and suggested I become a teacher. I'm hoping tutoring will give me that similar satisfaction of helping other people understand numbers, without changing my career path. I look forward to helping you or your kiddo with math, accounting, or whatever!
Experience
I have almost 10 years of experience in bookkeeping, auditing, and accounting. I have had a passion for math, numbers, & accounting for as long as I can remember breathing. I did very well in math throughout grade school, and aced my accounting classes in college. I also enjoyed helping/tutoring friends and classmates who weren't quite getting the hang of it as fast as I could. To me, accounting is like solving a puzzle and fitting all of the right pieces together. I'd be happy to help you out with basic math, or accounting topics such as debits and credits, financial statement reporting, budgeting, etc. I am currently only available for online tutoring.

Hobbies
When I'm not tutoring or working as a bookkeeper, you can find me writing, singing, & playing songs on my ukelele, or dancing around the house to fun music. I am also a dog walker, of my own cattle-mix, Avo, and through the Wag! dog walking service. I've lived and worked in Guatemala as a certified yoga teacher. I can speak conversational Spanish. I love making arts & crafts of all kinds: sewing, collages, or even just cooking up some snacks in the kitchen.
