As a master's degree holder in English, I am an experienced and knowledgeable tutor of the language. My affinity for my native tongue began early. When I was five, I was taught to read, and that is where the love affair started. I have, from that moment, craved reading and writing. Naturally, I want nothing more than to share my skills with those who perhaps do not feel the same, or need a little boost. I have taught and tutored, and I have written for newspapers, magazines, and online. When it comes to the written word, I am the ally you need.As an instructor, I do not view myself as an authority. Rather, I feel that the relationship between teacher and student is a mutual process of growth that requires respect on the part of both individuals. I want to see people reach the goals that they have set for themselves. The age-range I have worked with varies from elementary-level to adult. Whether it is a matter of comprehending or crafting material, I have helped to knock down barriers by bringing my enthusiasm for the subject.My husband and I are dog-parents. We have three beloved dogs in our home. I enjoy entertaining friends and cooking. I also like going out and experiencing nature, in addition to appreciating art.
