As a senior in high school I tutored a third grade student struggling with her multiplication tables. We met twice a week for about 5 months and by the end of the year her teacher told me she had become one of the quickest in the class at multiplication. Although I can help with low level math, my strongest subject (and my passion) is language, particularly Spanish and English. I have taken 5 years of Spanish instruction and will be continuing it with upper level classes this fall at U of O. I have the ability to be a great tutor because I am a very patient person and to me, patience is the most important virtue when teaching anyone.
