-Tutored as a part of Rustic Pathways Program in Australia -ACT score: 29 -2012 AP Scholar -People may not know this, but tutoring is so much more than teaching a student: it's about finding & identifying strengths and weaknesses, overcoming those weaknesses, discovering who your student is as an individual, and instilling within them confidence that they can overcome any challenge ahead...because they can. I've always wanted to share those opportunities with my students as a teacher-in-training, and feel that tutoring is the first step to becoming a great teacher -Has taken up to AP Calculus, AP English Lit/Composition, AP Environmental Science, College Level Math Functions & Trig, and AP US History -Has been working with kids since 7th grade as a babysitter (which also required tutoring) -Member of the California Scholarship Federation and Redwood High School Honor Society from 2008-2012 -Currently part of the College Scholars Program at the University of Oregon
