I am a junior at the University of Oregon where I am a physics major and a 4.0 student, and a member of Phi Theta Kappa and the National Society of Leadership and Success. My major is physics, but my passion is brainwaves; I work at the Wehr Lab where we study the auditory cortex of mice.
Experience
Before I had a passion for math I loved to write (I still do). I am a stickler for grammar and a great proofreader. I have found that the key to learning is to find some way to relate to the material so you become personally motivated. Motivation is a key factor in memory retention. As a tutor my goal is not just rote memorization but to a find a personal motivation for every student so that true passion and learning may be achieved.
