I am a California native with strong family roots, a friendly disposition and insatiable sense of adventure. I love photography, knitting, writing, and traveling to places that are entirely out of my element. I work with a non-profit organization called Invisible Children to spread awareness for war inflicted child soldiers in northern Uganda. Along with community building mission trips in Tijuana, this work has led me in the direction of studying international education in order to supply children with the knowledge they deserve.
