Experience

I have spent the last two years as a special education teacher at Level 5 high-school in Baltimore, MD. I taught English, Social Studies, and Math to special need students with emotional and behavioral disorders as well as learning disabilities. I have extensive experience dealing with behavior and classroom management, as well as differentiating instruction to individual needs of students. On top of my B.S. in Psychology, I have taken education classes in reading instruction, intro to special education, and educational assessment. I want to become a tutor because it is a part time job where I can apply my teaching experience.
