I am currently completing my PhD in Anthropology at Yale University. I am in Eugene finishing my dissertation. I am a prized and published author (fiction). Over the years, I have worked one-on-one with high school and college students, teaching language (Spanish), social studies & history, and writing (creative writing AND writing composition). I can help high school students with reading comprehension and writing on thematic subjects - like American or World Literature, History, or Social Studies. I can also help coaching them on college entrance essays and application prep. I can help college students with creative writing or writing composition. I am also trained to help students prepare for the GRE general exam. I can help high school school students AND college students with Spanish language learning.

I love hiking and biking. I LOVE cooking and eating good food. I love traveling. I have traveled extensively over my life and am happy to share my experiences if they are relevant to the lessons at hand. For Spanish language learners, I am happy to use experiential approaches (such as combining cooking and language learning, walking and language learning, museum visits and language learning, etc.)
